How the provision works 

Part 1 - Look at where the young person  is placed in the world, understand the journey they have been on and want to go on.  We look at their passions and positives in the first instance. We then unpick their barriers, their influencers, their comfort zones and their spark. Through conversation education and discussion we develop a plan for progression. 

Part 2- Look at sparking an interest by offering opportunities to learn new practical skills ranging from bricklaying to sports coaching and everything in between.  

Part 3 - Use their new found skills to undertake a community project which moves the young people into the community in a positive way, gaining valuable soft skills and making contact with positive influencers. 

Part 4 - Look for supported work placement and opportunities to enhance the independent skills for the young person. Support the learner into a positive progression outcome.
